Hemp is often touted as a miracle crop with countless applications for all; in the last few years it has quickly gained notoriety in the health world, but still faces strict legislative controls that make it all but impossible to grow despite being “legal.” Today’s guest, Ted Metz, came on the show to talk more about the industrial uses of hemp than the medicinal side. We discussed the many uses of hemp in industry and also some of the health effects hemp has on the natural world. Hemp is a beautiful product that can help make the world a “greener” place, and it is imperative that the legislative constrictions be released.

Once the interview wraps up, the Liberty Hippie reminds you to poke your congress people and hope they actually do something productive, like signing a letter from the HSLDA and creating legislation to remove archaic laws that inhibit the ability of homeschool students to obtain jobs and go to work.
