Vegetarians and vegans often believe their diets are healthier for the environment, and help promote animal rights. This isn’t always the case. In episode 35, we talk to Kate Kavanaugh, a former vegetarian who made the transition to an omnivorous diet and became a butcher, eventually opening her own butcher shop – Western Daughters Butcher Shoppe – in Colorado.
